Your money helps us to expand the number of permanent dementia centres we can open across the UK and to help fund the number of places at our existing centres. We are a registered charity. An example of the costs that come with running Dementia Active Centres are outlined below:
Staff
Dementia trained full-time members of staff trained to run activities throughout the day £21,500 per year.
Transport
Annual cost to hire and run a minibus to collect and return daily attendees, £16,500 per year.
Centres
Lease and cost of running permanent building, £42,000 per year
Meals
Catering costs for food and a chef to create a three course meal for members each day, £31,000 per year.
